My writing includes contemporary songs, jazz and large-ensemble arrangements, orchestration, MIDI sequencing, and score preparation.
In practice
I am also interested in Chinese traditional instrumental timbres and how they are represented in digital music tools. The character of an instrument matters to me as much as the notes written for it.
